La Crosse County Zoning, Planning & Land Information Department has a full-time vacancy for an individual with good public relations skills to work primarily with zoning and planning ordinances. Makes site inspections, issues zoning/occupancy permits and citations for zoning violations; makes routine mapping and surveying calculations; draws maps; prepares documents.
Prefer engineering aide experience performing land surveys, map drafting, land descriptions, soils and hydrology.
Requires advanced training in civil engineering mathematics, or two (2) years related experience in land mapping or surveying, drafting maps and civil engineering drawings.Qualifications:State of Wisconsin residency required within 6 months. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and transportation are required.
