GIS Project Manager

Proxix Solutions Inc, a leader in the geocoding, taxation and spatial hazard arenas. Proxix is looking for a GIS Project Manager to work in its Madison, WI office. The GIS Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 12 GIS analysts who will be collecting, analyzing and digitizing pedestrian and bicycle pathway data in a number of major cities.

Job Requirements
1) Managing a team of GIS Analysts in their data collection efforts.
2) Reports that track data collection efforts.
3) Fielding questions & concerns from our corporate office in Palm Harbor & current clients regarding procedures in data collection and quality control processes.
4) Reviewing all legal language relative to the use of the data.
5) Communicating with government officials regarding availability of digitized data, data fees and data use terms.
6) Oversee updating processes of metadata documentation and archiving of collected and reconstructed data.
