Looking to add a GIS Specialist to expand their Geographic Information Systems capabilities. Provide technical support to our engineers and scientists utilizing GIS applications and principals to enhance our existing, and prospective, customer service markets. Responsibilities include utilizing an ARC/INFO based system for manipulating data, leading, designing, and oraganizing spatial data coverage with the integration of attribute data and supporting internal client market groups by identifing and developing new GIS market opportunities. Web based mapping experience and PHP MapScript is desired. The ideal candidate will have expereince and working knowledge of ESRI GIS products, experience with practical engineering and scientific application of GIS technology, as well as AutoCAd and Microstation familiarity. A BS in engineering or science related field is required. MS is desired. General expereince in natural resource management, preferably water resources is a must. Strong problem solving, organization, and communication skills are essential.
