Web Developer

Position Description
This person will be involved in developing dynamic database-driven web applications for both small and large clients. Tasks will include the full application development life-cycle; this may range from interface design to database development. Every member of the web development team is a full contributor; our applications are team efforts from beginning to end!

Responsibilities Include:
• Develop functional requirements in concert with stakeholders and translate these requirements into effective web application frameworks.
• Implement these frameworks using the appropriate software/application development environment.
• Design user interfaces using appropriate web standards.
• Interact with clients in the development, implementation, and deployment of the final product.
• Test and resolve bugs in your own and other’s code.
• Contribute to advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices.

Required Skills:
• At least 3 years of programming using web technologies such as PHP, Javascript, Flash , ASP, etc. in a professional software engineering role.
• Relational database experience.
• A sound working knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and the ability to efficiently apply them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creativity and enthusiasm!

Desired Skills:
• Graphic design skills.
• Experience with LAMP technologies.
• Experience with AJAX .
• Experience in system and server administration .
