IS Comprehensive Services Specialist

This position performs a variety of information technology functions in support of the state�s mandatory Premises Registration program, promotion of the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), and integration with department, federal and other government systems. Work areas include: analysis and design of business applications for specialized programs, performing project management activities, coordinating work between technical IT areas as the Premises Registration/NAIS business analyst, and developing and maintaining effective communication networks between organizations on the status of Premise Registration and Animal Identification and tracking program development and integration efforts. Effectively analyze relational data-bases, business needs, maintain a basic understanding of GIS capability and the potential benefits of data overlays, and develop a comprehensive project plan to meet business requirements.
