The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) is looking for an experienced professional for the Senior Systems Analyst-Technical Services position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and advancing the effective use of computing technology and tools in the Technical Services group. The position reports to the Information Technology Services Department.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and four to five years of progressive experience in applications development, analysis of systems, project implementations and fostering effective use of computing technology. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personnel. The successful candidate should be able to learn quickly and prioritize tasks.
Experience or familiarity with any of the following is desirable: Database design, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Primavera, GIS, Microsoft SharePoint Services, Visual Basic 2005, .NET framework, Lawson, construction, surveying, engineering or project management.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable. Residency within MMSD boundaries (which includes Milwaukee County excluding South Milwaukee) required within one year.
