Position DescriptionThis person will be involved in developing dynamic database-driven web applications for bothsmall and large clients. Tasks will include the full application development life-cycle. Every member of the web development team is a full contributor; our applications are team efforts from beginning to end.
Responsibilities Include:
-Develop functional requirements in concert with stakeholders and translate theserequirements into effective web application frameworks.
-Implement these frameworks using the appropriate software/application development environment.
-Interact with clients in the development, implementation, and deployment of the finalproduct.
-Test and resolve bugs in your own and other’s code.
-Contribute to advancing the team’s design methodology and quality programming practices.
Required Skills:
-At least 2-3 years of programming using web technologies such as PHP, Javascript, or ASP, technologies in a professional software engineering role.
-Relational database experience.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Creativity and enthusiasm.
Desired (but not required) skills:
-Experience with LAMP technologies
-Experience with AJAX
-Experience in system and server administration.
