This position functions as the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist for the Department of Military Affairs Facilities Directorate. This position will assist with the acquisition, management and disposal of all Army National Guard facilities and property and management of out-grants. Primary responsibilities consist of analyzing, designing, organizing, documenting, and monitoring standards, structures and procedures for the development, implementation and utilization of GIS within the Directorate of Installations. This position determines needs and provides ongoing support for GIS in Installation management, master planning, environmental programs, real estate, ranges training areas and related projects.
