Wisconsin Department of Administration
This is an EXPIRED job listing. Do not apply for this position!
The Comprehensive Planning Grant Program at the Wisconsin Department of Administration is looking to hire a Limited Term Employee.
The work of the LTE would mainly involve reviewing comprehensive plans for compliance with the Comprehensive Planning Law. This is not a qualitative review, yet requires careful analysis. Reviewing plans can be demanding work, so the reviewer should be enthusiastic about comprehensive planning. The position would also include assisting the Head Grant Administrator of the Program, so the LTE should be ready and willing to do any sort of menial office task required. However, there is room to apply creativity in technical assistance and outreach activities.
This position would be an optimal fit for a recent planning (or related field) graduate looking to gain good work experience, to become familiar with the work of planning agencies and consultants from around Wisconsin, and looking for a chance to demonstrate their work abilities to the Division of Intergovernmental Relations staff. GIS skills, Access database experience, and a familiarity with statistics are desirable.
