The U.S. Geological Survey – Wisconsin Water Science Center has immediate full-time openings for environmental data managers who will design and deploy web-based applications over Oracle databases. Candidates could eventually be given the opportunity to manage and grow environmental data management projects in the Middleton Data Center.
These are likely entry-level to mid-level positions. It is very important that candidates posses some working knowledge of industrial-strength database systems, such as Oracle, SqlServer, Sybase, DB2, or MySql, and are familiar with SQL. Ability to program is a strong plus.
