Fish and Wildlife Technician/GIS Specialist

1. Extensive field work including: a. raising walleye from spawn collection to stocking; b. wild rice surveys, harvest, and planting; c. fish, wildlife, and waterfowl population surveys; d. habitat restoration and enhancement; e. tree planting; f. chain saw use; g. aquatic pesticide application; h. equipment maintenance. 2. Interact with the public, provide tribal fish management information. 3. GIS Specialist a. collect field data on GPS unit; b. create and maintain GIS databases; c. create and maintain spatial data; d. create maps; 4. Other related duties as required.
