Continental Mapping Consultants, Inc., located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, has an immediate opening for an experienced stereocompiler/junior photogrammetrist, working in our commercial mapping department.
Duties:
• Create topographic maps and outline feature information such as roads, hydrography, buildings, and other planimetry using aerial photography.
• Review previously compiled data for accuracy and completeness and perform necessary updates.
• Effectively communicate work progress to Production Supervisor and co-workers.
• Accurately follow given specifications and requirements for each mapping job.
Essential Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience with 3D stereocompilation (minimum 1 year experience)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Geography or Cartography, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Datem Summit Evolution softcopy and Microstation V8 or proficiency with related softcopy production system
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
