Description:
Designated Waters Data Coordinator-Apply computer skills to ensure public awareness and accessibility of information about Wisconsin’s high quality waters. Duties include: 20% evaluating existing data sources for completeness and accuracy; 20% prepare data for upload to new Oracle system; 20% develop maps, charts, tables and other presentation materials; 20% test, provide feedback on and document data preparation procedures; 20% develop GIS layers from tabular data.
Knowledge Required:
Computer skills. Thorough knowledge of GIS concepts and totological data models. Experience operating and applying ESRI ARc View v.3.2 or ArcGIS v. 8.3 software. Familiarity with web design, maintenance and HTML desired but not required.
