Job Duties:
The primary responsibility of this position is to work with all agencies and the DET division bureaus in the planning, coordination, standards implementation, communications management and strategies for the state’s Geographic Information System (GIS) services. The position will work closely with the Bureau of Infrastructure Support, the Bureau of Business Planning, other Office of Project Management and Monitoring staff, along with other Divisional or Agency bureaus regarding enterprise GIS. The position will schedule, lead, facilitate, and document meetings regarding GIS service strategies across the enterprise. The scope of the responsibilities in this position covers statewide customers, operations staff, and personnel across the Division.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The position requires knowledge of IT architectures as well as project management concepts, principles and practices at an enterprise level. Experience managing the design of services, including complex GIS Systems. Experience in design and integration of business applications into enterprise IT services. Project Management skills, particularly the ability to develop and execute plans in MS Project from conception through completion. Technical writing skills. Knowledge of IT Service Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework is desired. Proven customer service skills with strong customer focus. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Effective communication skills. Knowledge of MS office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Capable of working a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.
