GIS Sales Associate

Position Description:
The Associate will take a hands-on approach to identify, create and build relationships with new andtargeted clients as well as existing clients that will lead to the development of new business utilizing GIS. Manage contacts and follow-up for marketing campaigns performed by all team members. Document client management structures. Produce advertisements, banners, booth materials, brochures, flyers, program books, and other marketing materials supporting GIS and related services. Associate will also beresponsible for Budgeting, Assistance with Proposal Generation, Business Development, Statistics, and aYearly Marketing Plan. Individuals will be expected to think creatively, explore new technologies,collaborate with project managers to create and close sales, and constantly strive to promote GIS andCartographic techniques to lead the research efforts for our growth strategies and to support the sales forthe GIS division.

Position Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of databases, contact management anddesktop publishing software. Ability to work independently and also effectively with staff, projectmanagers, partners, and clients. Familiarity with Graphic Design and GIS technology a plus but notrequired.Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, GIS, Geography,Cartography, or other relevant major. Two years experience in professional services Sales and BusinessDevelopment in technology is preferred. Hands on experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and GIStechnology preferred. Knowledge of the local market a plus.
